Art Scene Classic - contemporary Chinese art - is a part of Art Scene China which focuses on Chinese artworks that are more "classical” in nature. The artworks are still contemporary Chinese, but generally smaller in size and more suitable for a classic home. Many contemporary Chinese artists these days like to create huge artworks, which one cannot possible fit at home. Our aim is to provide attractive contemporary chinese art by talented Chinese artists that also fits in people’s homes. The art works should be enjoyed and appreciated; contemporary Chinese art is not simply there to be “collected” and put into storage.

Art Scene Classic is located in Shanghai at the M50 (Moganshan Lu 50) art district. It is a special space in the back of Art Scene Warehouse, which is renovated in a home-style manner, with wood floors, Chinese furniture, etc. Art Scene Classic gives people an idea of what the contemporary art pieces would look like at home.
